Dube TradePort has unveiled Iziko@Dube, a landmark mixed-use commercial building
Iziko@Dube, a bold seven-storey mixed-use commercial building within the King Shaka International Airport precinct is complete.
Set to officially open in the second quarter of 2025, Iziko@Dube will house one of KwaZulu-Natal’s leading business process outsourcing (BPO) service providers, along with a dynamic mix of staff support amenities that include training facilities and a 24-hour corporate cafeteria, as well as the Durban Aerotropolis visitors centre and new meeting facilities.
Capitalising on the precincts’ readily available high-speed internet connectivity, data centre facilities, and reliable power supply within the airport location, the building provides a robust environment for businesses focused on research and scaling technology-driven operations.
Dube TradePort’s CEO, Mr Hamish Erskine, commented: “We are committed to positioning Dube City as a premier hub for both domestic and international businesses. Iziko@Dube is a testament to our vision of fostering economic development, job creation, and building a vibrant business ecosystem. We look forward to welcoming new enterprises that will contribute to the prosperity of our region.”
In its first year, the anchor tenant, a leading business process outsourcing service provider, will occupy six floors, initially bringing in 350 employees, which will
expand to 1,800 when the building is fully occupied. This rapid growth underscores the building’s role in fostering job creation and economic growth within KZN. The top floor will feature premier meeting and conference facilities, positioning Iziko@Dube as an ideal venue for workshops and corporate events.
Iziko@Dube embodies a vision of a space where everyone can come together to learn, share knowledge, and create. The architecture of the buildings features a cosmopolitan design that promotes an inclusive community spirit, reflecting the vibrant culture of KwaZulu-Natal.
Dube TradePort continues to invest in infrastructure within its precinct to create a sustainable and thriving business environment, laying the groundwork for business growth.
